HuTag XC-2 is the only passive GEN-2 UHF RFID tag designed from scratch for people. It reads vertically as well as horizontally up to a range of 8 metres directly off the skin. This makes it ideal for tagging people in any situation where a robust multi-use UHF tag is required.
HuTag XC-2 can be used to track people in all sorts of situations and is predominately used in sports timing for tracking athletes across races such as triathlon, obstacle/mud runs, XC running, MTB, Open Water swimming, skiing and skating. It's also ideal for use in closed environments such as hospitals and heavy industry.
